LEAD PARTER SEARCH!!!! LOW-CARB FOOD FUTURES
We are searching for a lead partner for a project proposal under Interreg Alpine Space – Specific Objective 2.2: Promoting the circular economy.
Project idea:
The project develops and tests a model for low-carbon food systems in Alpine communities through practical, community-based pilots and a strategy for systemic transformation.
Key elements include:
Setting up raised beds and testing low-impact vegetable production,
Introducing and certifying low-carbon menus in restaurants and school kitchens,
Developing a joint “Low-Carbon Menu” label for visibility and consumer awareness,
Creating a transnational strategy with guidelines and tools for municipalities and SMEs to implement climate-conscious food policies.
Mozaik dobrot d.o.o. is a Slovenian employment center with deep experience in sustainable food production, local supply chains, and inclusion of vulnerable groups. We offer technical know-how, local testing capacity, and communication skills – but as an SME, we are not eligible to be a lead partner.
🟢 We are actively looking for a public or eligible organization to take the lead in this timely and practical project. We believe the project will bring real change to local food systems in Alpine regions and are ready to contribute actively.
