EcoSCOPE – Inclusive Citizen Science for Ecological Participation
We are seeking committed partners for EcoSCOPE, an Interreg Alpine Space project that combines citizen science, digital inclusion, and adult education to address shared ecological and social challenges in the Alpine region.
EcoSCOPE empowers vulnerable adult learners, especially people with intellectual disabilities, to actively participate in biodiversity monitoring and local ecological observation using accessible innovative training tools. The project bridges the digital divide, strengthens environmental awareness, and supports inclusive participation in nature-based knowledge generation.
We aim to:
– Boost digital and ecological literacy through local workshops and learning modules
– Collect transnational biodiversity data through citizen observations
– Promote long-term community engagement and policy use of citizen-generated data
Looking for partners in:
– Adut inclusive learning
– Environmental and biodiversity research
– Digital tools / app development
– Local/regional authorities (policy application and pilot sites)
– NGOs or networks focused on inclusion, lifelong learning, or sustainability
