About

Trafficon develops projects in the field of mobility and traffic management and implements them with and for its public sector clients. Mobility and traffic management projects are carried out in the fields of work, tourism, education and logistics. One focus is the implementation of the ITS Directive 2010/40 EU and its regulations down to the municipal level. For this purpose, reporting channels and data deliveries from the local authorities/municipalities to the National Access Points (NAP) are developed and set up with the public sector institutions. This enables public administrations to provide traffic data on construction sites and events, steering and control strategies and target data to transport services, to maintain them at low cost and to publish them daily.

As these projects address cross-border mobility, trafficon wants to submit a cross-border project on tourism mobility and traffic management in Q2/2025 as part of alpin-space. On the German side, a complete project description was drawn up with partners (districts, special purpose associations, industrial partners, Technical University of Munich) on the Bavarian border with Tyrol.

In order to activate mobility and traffic management in the Alpine region, we are looking for suitable and motivated partners from Tyrol (Austria), South Tyrol (Italy) and Switzerland for this project submission.
