VERONICA

DAFNE is a Cooperative Social Enterprise and Tour Operator specialising in sustainable tourism in Protected Areas, Parks and Hinterland, with a focus on sustainable, inclusive and regenerative tourism.
The Cooperative has been operating since 1994 in the field of environmental dissemination and nature and cultural tourism, providing services to public and private users in the field of promotion and enhancement of cultural and environmental heritage in Liguria. Since 2013 the Cooperative has been operating as the Tour Operator ‘Dafne Viaggi’ for the organisation of tourist packages strongly focused on the discovery of the territory thanks to experiential, outdoor activities and the involvement of the local community. DAFNE is a member of the Italian Association of Responsible Tourism (AITR), with which it shares mission and objectives. DAFNE is registered in the Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS) and adopts an internal management system of procedures (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification) counting 40 workers, including members and employees.
DAFNE has gained proven experience and expertise in the management of cross-border and private foundation-funded projects, both as a partner (completed projects: Interreg Marittimo S.MAR.T.I.C., Interreg Marittimo QMbac and Interreg Marittimo QMNET; ongoing projects: Interreg Maritime FESTA, Interreg Maritime INN-PRATICA, Interreg Maritime QM EXPORT and Interreg Maritime TIRAMISU, ERASMUS DIANA) and as an implementing party-service provider (Interreg Maritime T.R.I.G-Eau, GIREPAM, NEPTUNE, POMarittimo Italy-France 2007-2013 as CoREM and TPE). DAFNE participated as a Tour Operator in the realisation of tourist routes in the Interreg Maritime project VIVIMED and participated in the co-design of the Project for the cultural and social regeneration of small historical villages PNRR M1C3 – line B.
