We are a strategic partner to the Bavarian sensor industry. Our goals are the joint development of technology, the initiation and support of cross-industry collaborations and the provision of comprehensive company-orientated services – thereby addressing our mission to promote the industry.

The Cluster Sensorik/ Strategische Partnerschaft Sensorik e. V. (SPS) is a central enabler for smart, sustainable sensor technologies and trustworthy electronic systems. Through interdisciplinary cooperation and cross-cluster projects, it taps into the potential of sensor technology across all sectors. As the mouthpiece of the Bavarian sensor ecosystem, it presents innovative technology solutions worldwide and thus strengthens Bavaria’s position as a centre for sensor technology.

Our 20-person team combines in-depth expertise in sensor technology, methodological competence and many years of experience in transformation processes and the design of new qualification programmes. We support companies of all sizes, especially SMEs, in increasing their resilience and competitiveness with practical seminars and workshops as well as customised R&D offerings. With an annual turnover of two million euros, 250 innovation projects initiated and a funding volume of 60 million euros generated, our supporting organisation Strategische Partnerschaft Sensorik e. V. has achieved sustainable success as a catalyst for Bavaria’s innovation landscape.
