We are seeking a new partner from Switzerland to replace a withdrawing organisation in a running Interreg Alpine Space project.
The ideal candidate is a cluster organisation or business support body operating in the mechatronics or manufacturing sector, with strong links to SMEs and local stakeholders.
The new partner will be involved in all project activities and will contribute with its own staff and resources. It will support the definition of the methodology and provide input for the digital tool aimed at helping SMEs develop transition plans towards sustainability and circularity. The partner will carry out local awareness and assessment activities involving manufacturing SMEs. During the piloting phase, it will identify and support 20 relevant SMEs through individual guidance for the preparation of their transition plans. Five of these SMEs will be further assessed to evaluate the feasibility of the required investments and receive additional support for their implementation. The partner will also be responsible for involving local institutions, such as cantonal or regional authorities and universities, to promote the adoption of the project’s strategy and action plan. Furthermore, it will contribute to the dissemination of the toolkit and project results to strengthen the Manufacturing 5.0 approach, and participate in communication activities as planned.
Interested organisations must be based in Switzerland and demonstrate experience in supporting innovation, digitalisation or sustainability in SMEs, with the operational capacity to implement the foreseen tasks.
