| About | Koinè Social Cooperative is a non-profit organization based in the Lombardy Region (Northern Italy), with over 30 years of experience in environmental education, cultural heritage, and community engagement. We design and implement educational programs that promote sustainability, social inclusion, and active citizenship. Our work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins at the community level. We foster participation through co-designed initiatives that bring together citizens, schools, local authorities, and cultural institutions. Our activities include managing biodiversity centers, organizing cultural and environmental events at historic sites such as Chiaravalle Abbey and Mirasole Abbey, and leading workshops, teacher training, and zero-waste campaigns. We also create school gardens and promote outdoor education as tools to reconnect people with nature and strengthen community ties. Our approach integrates scientific and humanistic knowledge, always prioritizing shared experiences and local involvement. We are seeking partners who value community-driven approaches to sustainability, education, and innovation. |
