About

I’m the founder and director of EuropaScène, an innovative initiative focused on enhancing the attractiveness of dual education and vocational professions within the Alpine Space. It aims to engage young people, companies, and educational institutions in a cross-border collaboration that promotes the value of apprenticeship-based careers, bridging cultural and linguistic gaps in a fun and interactive way.

The project’s primary objective is to utilize creative and engaging methods, such as behavioral theater and video games, to raise awareness and interest in dual education. By creating a network of committed partners from across the Alpine Space, this project will offer a unique platform for sharing resources, good practices, and innovative training formats. The focus on cross-border mobility and the development of intercultural competences will equip young apprentices with the skills they need to thrive in an international work environment.

A key feature of this project is the creation of a variety of multilingual materials, including sketches written and performed by apprentices themselves. These performances will not only provide insight into various professions but also offer a humorous and engaging way to deconstruct stereotypes and highlight the cultural and professional differences and similarities across borders. Additionally, the project will introduce an innovative “Jobgarden” experience, an experiential and fun career discovery pathway designed for secondary school pupils in the orientation phase, giving them firsthand exposure to dual education and the opportunities it offers in the Alpine Space.

In summary, this project offers a dynamic and innovative approach to promoting dual education and vocational careers. By combining the arts, cross-border collaboration, and cutting-edge communication strategies, it will not only benefit the participants directly but also inspire and engage a wider audience across the Alpine region.
