| About | I’m a geomorphologist and CNRS Research Director in the EDYTEM laboratory at the Université Savoie Mont-Blanc (Chambéry). The laboratory brings together researchers in the geosciences (geology, hydrogeology, geomorphology) and the humanities and social sciences (geography, territorial economics), with the aim of using an interdisciplinary approach to solve environmental and societal problems specific to mountain environments, dynamics and territories (EDyTEM). My team, Morphodynamiques, is specialized in high mountain areas, and in particular in the morphodynamics linked to the evolution of mountain permafrost (destabilization of rock faces, acceleration of rock glaciers, retreat of hanging glaciers and ice aprons, etc.). |
