About

The Association des Centrales Villageoises is a French federation of energy communities, supporting citizen-led renewable energy initiatives across the country. We have developed a comprehensive “one-stop shop” that combines a resource center with tailored technical and organizational support for energy communities. With nearly 10 years of experience, we are currently sharing our expertise through three ongoing European projects.

Looking for partners
We are seeking to develop new projects in collaboration with European partners. In particular, we are interested in initiatives related to:
-The digitalization of community energy services (e.g. installation monitoring, shareholder registries)
– Energy flexibility and demand-side management solutions
– Tools for load control and consumption optimization in collective self-consumption schemes
– The development of innovative, sustainable business models beyond public support mechanisms

We would be glad to connect with organizations that share our goals and are interested in strengthening the role of citizens in the energy transition.
