| About | Redmint is a cooperative nonprofit network made by international researchers from several European regions, joining forces together in order to promote regional sustainable development by inventing and developing projects on the territory. Our common vision is based on the combination of two main objectives and areas of intervention, social innovation and inclusion, and technology and knowledge transfer. Concerning the former, our projects and activities aim at putting social innovation and inclusion at the center of the development process, in order to enhance livability of different regional environments and promote sustainability by fostering behavioral change and raising awareness among citizens. According to the Redmint approach, technology and knowledge transfer actions develop around communities and their needs. The potential of innovation can be exploited when citizens have equal access to its benefits, and it generates competitiveness when the socio-economic environment is affected as a system. |
