| About | I am an expert in sustainability in the construction sector, with a focus on digitalization and the use of innovative tools such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to optimize processes and reduce environmental impact. My research explores how digital technologies can enhance the climate resilience of buildings and infrastructure. I address key challenges such as the underuse of BIM for sustainability and the complexity of applying LCA in construction. I currently lead the local research unit at DAD – University of Genoa for the European project “TECHNICAL SUPPORT INSTRUMENT – TSI 2023: LIGURIATOURISM-IBA – Regional development of Western Liguria” (2023–2025), focused on sustainable regional development. Through both academic and applied research, I aim to bridge methodological gaps and promote environmentally responsible, community-oriented construction practices that support the ecological transition and regional resilience. |
